Help Selling Your Vehicle

There are a few basic steps in selling your car through us is:

• 1) Schedule a day for us to inspect and assess the vehicle
• 2) Let us make a recommendation as whether to sell your car as one of our certified vehicles (required repairs will be arranged), or to sell it as-is (with a repair estimate from our inspection) on our website, or the local market.
• 3) We will market it in the fashion decided on. We also advertise through other Internet channels and printed materials around the city.
• 4) When it sells, we charge a commission of the sale price. We will take responsibility for handling of the paperwork. The seller will be responsible for ownership transfer fees, fuel, repairs, etc.

* We require all consignment cars no longer under a manufacture's warranty (usually 3-5 years) to be left in our care.

As a Certified Vehicle

Consigning your car with Expat Auto as a certified car:

• Gives buyers peace of mind that comes from our thorough inspection and pre-sale repair requirements
• We take on the responsibility and cost to give buyers a written warranty on parts and labor as seen on the buyer's guide
• We will perform any discussed repairs, detail it, and get it advertised as one of our certified cars.

Commission Rates vary based upon age due to our warranty responsibilities:

0-3 years.	3%
>3 to 6 years	4%
>6 to 10 years	5%
>10 years	6%

* Minimum 15,000 THB for this service.

As-Is Condition

Consigning your car in as-is condition:

• If you are not able/willing to spend the extra money in repairs to bring it up to our certifiable status, the repair list is not too extensive, and it is a brand, price, etc that we can stand behind, we will advertise it as-is on our website with the repair recommendations attached.
• If however, repairs are very extensive or if it is a car we do not want to advertise on our site, we will advertise through other mediums.

We charge a 3% commission for this service (minimum 10,000 THB)

Renting Your Vehicle Out

Expat Auto offers a consignment rental service. This can be a great way to make some extra money on a car or truck you are not using, or for those who are leaving the country for extended periods. Before renting out your vehicle, we will:

• Require the vehicle to have at least level 3+1 insurance
• Do a detailed inspection and make any necessary repairs (as determined by Expat Auto)

Rentals rates will vary depending on the age and model of your vehicle, but will most likely be in the range of 10,000-25,000 THB per month. In return for a commission, we provide:

• Advertising
• Cleaning and Maintenance
• Delivery and Service calls

You as the vehicle owner will be responsible for:

• Road tax & insurance costs
• Cost of any maintenance and necessary repairs not covered by insurance
