We all know that used car dealers around the world have given the car business a bad name. Some of this comes out of straight up dishonesty, but some of it also comes out of neglect on the part of the seller to fully check what they are selling. Cars have a lot of parts and it takes some expertise to know what you are looking at. We at Expat Auto feel that the reputation of the used car business is unfortunate yet avoidable. That is part of the reason we started Expat Auto and decided to rise to challenge the status quo here in Thailand.

What we do is plain and simple. We do our due dillegence and thouroughly inspect and repair all of our vehicles to a standard that we would desire if we were buying the car for our own use. We go through roughly 200 points of inspection that ensures we don’t miss anything critical. We will tell you what condition the vehicle came to us in and the repairs that we did on it. No games. We put a lot of time and money into preparing our vehicles and we hope that you will benefit from our attention to detail. We are confident enough in our vehicles that we invite you to take it to a third party mechanic if you wish, or rent it for a week to test it out before you buy.

In Thailand there are other factors such as language and culture that also add to the difficulty of buying a car. Our aim is to remove as many of the unknown factors as possible and give you peace of mind in being able deal with people that speak your own language. We hope that we can make buying and selling a vehicle a more pleasant and straight forward experience.
